Cry Of The Righteous

Psalm 34:17

 

The righteous cry and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

 

Today's scripture text is a testimony of God's compassionate care of coming to the rescue of those who cry out to Him. Every believer has a personal testimony of God's deliverance because when the believer cried out to God for deliverance from the clutches of sin God delivered. The young nation of Israel is a perfect example of God's deliverance. The nation of Israel cried out to God and in His due time He delivered and even made a highway of dry land through the Red Sea. In doing so Pharaoh's army was drown as they were in hot pursuit of the Israelites. God's provisional care continued during their wondering years in the desert. He fed them manna from heaven and water from a rock.

God continues to hear and answer the cry of the righteous just as He did each tine Israel cried out to Him. God's deliverance is assured for whatever situation the person needs deliverance from. God has proven Himself to be trustworthy as He changes not and desires an intimate relationship with His people. That said, we can call on God with assurances of receiving an answer. He is an on-time God. Humanity needed a Savior, in God's time His Son Jesus came to save the world from sin.

God being a God of love, peace and holy righteousness will answer the cry of the righteous.
