Walking in the Ways and Wisdom of God Psalm 119:105; Psalm 37:23; Proverbs 3:3

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (105). The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way (23). Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart (3).

Why is it important for all humanity to Walk in the Ways and Wisdom of God? It is important because it says to the world that yes, I am a child of God and will raise my children in the ways and wisdom of God Almighty. I and my household will allow God's word to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths. In doing so, I, like other believers, is allowing God to order our footsteps in obedience to His laws and statues because God's ways and standards are what all humanity will be judged.
It is noteworthy to say by walking in God's ways, and wisdom becomes more meaningful to the person because His mercy and truth reside in our hearts. We are then better able to live a Christian life manifesting the light and love of Christ for the world to see. Manifesting Christ in our lives may be the only Bible the world is reading.
Walking in the ways and wisdom of God, all believers have established a vertical relationship with God; walk therein.

God Provides Comfort: 2 Corinthians 2:3-4

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Where can I find comfort in my times of trouble? In this life, we will need support from one adversity or another, but we are to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ who promises to comfort us in all of our trial and tribulations. Our Savior Jesus Christ is faithful to His word and God the Father, keeps all of His promises. Therefore, trust in God and take all of our problems to Him in prayer and leave them there with full confidence He will take care of the situation.
We are also encouraged to call on the name of Jesus as we put our trust in Him. He knows and cares. As stated in Psalm 27:1, we have nothing to fear or be afraid of because the Lord is our refuge, our comfort, and salvation (paraphrased). He gives us strength when it is needed.
Another comforting thought as recorded in Psalm 24, which states the world is the Lord's and all that is in the world because He made everything and is in control of everything, includes life and death.
God is too wise to make a mistake and His justice is fair.

Mending a Broken Relationship: Ephesians 4:2; 1 Peter 4:8

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

What are relationships? Relationships are defined in the way in which a person or persons are connected, or it can be defined as a state of being connected (Online Dictionary).
There are several kinds of relationships, and some are: (a) family, (b) friend, (c) romantic, (d) work, (e) Faith community, and (f) a relationship with God.
For today's discussion, I want to talk about family relationship and our relationship with God. The common thread listed in our texts is love; love causes us to bear one another burdens, love causes us to be forgiving of one another when we are wronged as love forgives a multitude of sins. Through Jesus Christ's atoning work on the cross at Calvary, our sins are forgiven; thereby, restoring a broken relationship between God and man. Then why not forgive one another in love and maintain and or restore a broken relationship. This is what Christ did when He sacrificed His life for all humanity.
When our relationships become strained, why not do as scripture says by having a humble spirit and let love overrule any misunderstandings, thereby restoring a broken link.
A stable relationship is governed by love.

A Mother's Love: Proverbs 31:25-30

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She opened her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

This weekend is a day set aside to celebrate mothers for their love, kindness, and gentleness who always speaks wisdom to those she encounters. Our scripture texts provide a glimpse of the character of a mother and her love for her family, friends and all she meets.
Proverbs 31:10-31 speaks of a Virtuous woman who is the characteristics of a godly mother, wife and upstanding woman in the community. Women with these virtuous are to be cherished from the depths of our hearts because they are more precious than rubies.
Let us, love, cherish and honor our mothers because we will only have one mother.
