Walk in the Light of Christ: Psalm 119:105 KJV

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Being in Christ, we must walk in His light because He knows the way that will us to safety as He is keeping us from all harm and danger. We walk in the light of Christ because He is the all-seeing and all-knowing God.
How do we walk in the light of Christ? We walk in His light by reading and meditating on the Holy Scriptures, which is His word, praying and submitting ourselves to Him. We walk in the light of Christ because He said if we abide in Him, and He will abide in us. Lastly, we walk in the light of Christ because He gave us His Spirit, who is God to serve as our teacher, guide, and our heavenly compass as we navigate our path to heaven.
Christ's light to walk in; walk therein.

Words of Encouragement: Isaiah 40:31; 41:10

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Tuesday's message asked the question, Is American headed for a Downfall? Today's message focus is to provide encouragements by stating that regardless of how bleak the situation may appear, know that God is in control, and all who wait upon the Lord will have their strength renewed. God will give us the strength to endure until He changes the situation. Being God's elect, we are kept by Him under His mighty wings of protection (Psalm 91:1-4KJV).
God is with us and is our helper during these times of trials and tribulations. John 16:33, encourages us to have no fear because God, through His Son Jesus Christ has overcome the world. We have own God's protective armor as recording in Ephesians 6:11-18 KJV. We are to take the fight to Satan; victory is our; praying as we fight this spiritual warfare through faith and resisting the Devil.
Do not be discouraged instead be encouraged God is in control.

Is American headed for a Downfall? Nahum 1:2-7

God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for His enemies.  The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

I want to thank my good friend Carolyn for asking me to read the entire book of Nahum, which I did, and as I read, I saw America.
The above question came to mind as I read this short book and reflected on our current situation in this country I began to see America pictured clearly because sin in this county has become rampant and appears as though there is no end to sin.  Each day it seems to get worse than the day before.
America has a multitude of sins that needs repenting. For example, separating babies from their mothers, abusing small children and sexually abusing some, and even some children have died while in our custody. This is not who we are as true Americans. We are a loving, caring Christian nation. Racism, bigotry, homosexually is on the rise, so is all other hate crimes. Some of our political leaders have colluded with our enemy-a foreign entity to gain control and sell out the country in which they live by obstructing justice to remain in power. We have a person who went to great lengths to become the leader of this country to sell it out. For what reason? Was it greed, or being owned by the foreign entity for self-gain? Where is the love for this country?
God is a jealous God, and He allowed this to happen so that we may repent and return to Him as He is the real leader of this country. Also, we must stand firm on the truth of God's word regardless of the sin that we face.  God is also a forgiving God and is willing to heal our land, but we must do as He asks in 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV.
America, God, has healing waiting for us, pray, repent, turn from our wicked ways, and then we will see the hand of God move in a mighty way.

Living in an Uncertain World

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)

If we pose the question, why is there so much uncertainty in our world today? We can look no further than Biblical history and what caused doubt, and we will see that sin is the culprit which began with the disobedience of Adam when he disobeyed God's command. With the dreadful act of defiance, sin entered the world and has been growing ever since in many ways and has spread throughout the world. Sin results in indecisiveness, confusion, insecurity, doubt, and hesitation, but trusting God brings certainty, self-assurance, confidence, and a conviction of our faith in God and our walk with Him because we have entrusted everything to God.
The act of disobeying God's word is our failure to trust God; take Him at His Word; acknowledge that He is able and willing to direct our paths because He is all knowing. We must reframe from leaning unto our understanding because God's thoughts far exceed ours; His ways are better than ours, because He knows the way, and His roads lead to righteousness (Isaiah 55:8-9KJV).
It is noteworthy to say that when we trust God in all that we do; we are assured that the path He is leading us is one of righteousness that is best because God wants an intimate relationship with His people. In doing so, we will have the peace of God that will rule our hearts even amid the chaos that is in our world today; simply because God's peace surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 JHV).
In an uncertain world put your trust in God as there is no failure in Him. He is the highest order of thoughts; He is present in the face of danger (Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 27:1-5KJV). God is a sure thing in an uncertain world.

God's inseparable Love Romans 8:38-39 KJV

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

How strong in your love for God? This is a valid question given all that God has done for humanity and continues to do in our lives. Let's examine the facts; through disobedience, sin entered the world and separated humanity from God. His agape love caused Him to pay an enormous price to reconcile man back to Himself. He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life, restoring a broken relationship with the Father.
Second, God provides for all our needs as recorded in Philippians 4:19. During Jesus' earthly ministry, He would meet the person's physical need to meet his/her spiritual need. There is no failure in God.
Third, God the Father tests our love for Him as well as our faith in Him. These tests come in the form of trials, hardships, and other discomforting situations. God's love and presence are always with us. Remember Job who suffered much but never renounced God during his trials. In the end, Job was restored, and so were his possessions with more than what he had before. What does this say for you and me today? It gives us assurances that whatever the situation is, there is nothing that can separate us from God's love.  Why I make this claim is because if God allows the circumstance, He will bring you through the dilemma.
Lastly, we are to have Job-like faith and trust in God because all things work together for our good for those who love God and is called Him for His purpose (Romans 8:28 KJV).

Under God's Protections: Psalm 91:1-5 KJV

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

If we were to ask the question, who is our true protector? The answer is God Almighty because He dispatches His good and mercy angels to watch over us day and night. God does because He loves us unconditionally and wants no harm to come to His people.
Yes, in our humanness, we have our earthly protection devices and methods, but nothing compares to the protection that God provides. God's protection is pale in comparison to His protection because He is all-knowing; therefore, He can and does guide us away from danger. It is noteworthy to say that if we fail to adhere to God's truth, He will allow bad things to happen. It God being mean, no just trying to bring us back in to close fellowship with Him where we are obedient to His word, ways, and commandments.
Look at Israel and how God provided, protected, and forgave them each time they would stray from God. His actions prove that He is a forgiving God who loves unconditionally regardless of our sinfulness.
Allow me to close by saying that yes, God is our rightful protector and His shield and buckler deflector of the evil that flies day and night.
