God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is
furious; the Lord will take vengeance on
his adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for His enemies. The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the
wicked: the Lord hath his way in the
whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
I want to thank my good friend Carolyn for asking
me to read the entire book of Nahum, which I did, and as I read, I saw America.
The above question came to mind as I read this
short book and reflected on our current situation in this country I began to
see America
pictured clearly because sin in this county has become rampant and appears as
though there is no end to sin. Each day
it seems to get worse than the day before.
America has a multitude of sins that needs repenting. For example,
separating babies from their mothers, abusing small children and sexually
abusing some, and even some children have died while in our custody. This is
not who we are as true Americans. We are a loving, caring Christian nation.
Racism, bigotry, homosexually is on the rise, so is all other hate crimes. Some
of our political leaders have colluded with our enemy-a foreign entity to gain
control and sell out the country in which they live by obstructing justice to
remain in power. We have a person who went to great lengths to become the
leader of this country to sell it out. For what reason? Was it greed, or being
owned by the foreign entity for self-gain? Where is the love for this country?
God is a jealous God, and He allowed this to
happen so that we may repent and return to Him as He is the real leader of this
country. Also, we must stand firm on the truth of God's word regardless of the
sin that we face. God is also a
forgiving God and is willing to heal our land, but we must do as He asks in 2
Chronicles 7:14 KJV.
America, God, has healing waiting for us,
pray, repent, turn from our wicked ways, and then we will see the hand of God move
in a mighty way.
