1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not
in vain in the Lord.
As we focusing on believer's recommitment to Christ today's focus is our
steadfastness in Christ.
In the preceding verses, the Apostle Paul is reminding the believers at Corinth of the changes
that will occur when Christ returns. We will pull off corruptible and put on
incorruptible as all believers will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. We have something to look forward to in the
coming days. The Apostle Paul's message encourages all Christians to remain
steadfast in Christ because great is our reward.
It is noteworthy to say that the brighter Christians let their shine for
Christ as we proclaim His gospel message others will hear of His saving power
as well as see His goodness and they too will join God's family.
Let me encourage all to remain steadfast in Christ as we travel this
Christian journey as we live in a sin-darkened world. We may get weary at
times, but rely on the strength of the indwelling Holy Spirit as Christ left
His Spirit to aid us in this world.
We are never alone; Christ's Spirit is near; stay in Christ.
