Today's message is taken from this month's devotional titled
Unconditional Love and this being Mother's Day week I felt led by the Holy
Spirit to focus on Mothers. Thanks for allowing me to share. Please share with

Proverbs 31:10-31
Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
Verses 11-31
answer the question of who can find a virtuous woman, which thoroughly provides
the definition of a virtuous woman. The description provided also describes a
Christian wife and mother. These verses also describe the ideal wife and mother
whose life is centered on her family and God as well as doing what pleases both
is her first and foremost mission. She is faithful to her husband and God as
she knows her husband is submissive unto God and she is submissive unto him in
reverence and love.
It is worth
noting that a virtuous woman seeks to serve others as well as God and her
family. A virtuous woman makes sure that the needs of her family are met as she
is resourceful in providing for her family whether it is materially and or
spiritually. This character trait also applies to community needs. She seeks to
serve her community in the same loving manner.
The woman
described in our lesson text gains her strength and grace from the Lord as she
knows He is the true source of her being and her ability to faithfully serve
her family and community.
A
virtuous woman (Christian wife and mother) is priceless and is a precious
commodity. She is to be loved and cherished all the days of her life. A
virtuous woman is the crown jewel of the family and the apple of God and her
husband's eye.
