But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Today’s message is a
continuation of yesterday’s message of God Hears because He does and is
faithful to answer our prayers.
The Psalmist recognizes
God and His sovereign powers and pleads to God to remain near him because the
Lord is his strength and very present help in times of trouble.
Let us call out to God
because He is our stronghold, our deliverer, and the God of our salvation. God
loves us unconditionally and is faithful to His promise of never to leave nor
forsake His children. God is a trustworthy God who is reliable and merciful.
While all is well with us,
let us thank and praise Him for his goodness. When troubles arise, yes, call
out to Him.
Draw near to God, and He
will draw near to you.
