Rest in the Lord: Matthew 11:28-29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek
and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
We are experiencing troublesome times, but we can take
comfort in knowing that we have a friend in Jesus who is willing and able to
bear our burden. He asks us to cast all of our cares upon Him (Palm 55:22), and
He will give us rest.
It is good to know that we are never far from God who
loves us immensely and is in the storm with us, and He will carry us through
the storm.
Be encouraged, for God is ever-present. We find rest
and peace in Him. His peace transcends world peace. He is our comforter.
Therefore, take God at His word and give Him our problems, anxieties, and
troubles.
