This day shall be for you a Memorial Day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations, as a statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast.
As we reflect and remember 9/11 nineteen years ago, we do so
with love in our hearts and compassion for our lost loved ones and their
families. We recognize them because they were our fellow Americans. We are all
one in this country and Christ. There is no greater love than a man that will
lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). These were sacrificed lives. It
could have been any one of us making the sacrifice. In our remembrance, their
sacrifice wasn’t in vain.
As we remember, let us pray for one another, peace and love.
