Surely, he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall
be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:
his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he
sees his desire upon his enemies.
Trying to make sense of the evilness that is bombarding our
airways, one could become depressed and want to give up the fight for right and
justice. Allow me to encourage you who are fighting for truth and justice, take
heart the Lord is with you as right and justice will prevail in the end. Injustice
may appear to be winning the battle, but know this that God is a just God and
He is the righteous judge. All evil and wickedness will be punished.
Reflect with me on this Biblical parable, when Jesus said
let the wheat and tare grow together, and in the end, He (God) will do the
separating. During these violent protests, the enemy is among us and are being
identified and will be punished for their acts of violence. Only God can fix an
evil heart because his heart is fixed on being and doing evil.
Lastly, keep the faith in doing what is right, because God
is with us, His protection is upon us because we are covered by the blood of
Jesus. There are more of us who are fighting for right and justice than the
evil ones.
Pray for peace as we navigate these troubled times. Pray
for the peace of understanding and let the love of God rule our peaceful
hearts.
