Let
everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Concluding my preparation for teaching volume 2 of the
Psalms I felt obliged to close with Psalm 150 in its entirety which encourages
all creation to praise God.
Studying the Psalms, we will learn that they cover a wide
range of topics as they relate to God Himself from all creation to humanity,
the salvation of humanity, sin and evil, God's judgment; His justice and
righteousness, worshiping and praising Him and praying to our holy God.
There are Psalms of when a man is in distress; Psalms of
thanksgiving; Psalms listing the many wonders of God; then there are Psalms
that praise God.
We praise God for who He is, His love grace and mercy. We
praise God because He is sovereign and has all power; He sees all; can do all
and is everywhere. He is a God that supplies all our needs.
Given all that God does for us and what He means to us, we
are encouraged to sing praises as expressed in the book of Psalm and to shout Hallelujah
to the God of all creation.
