Ecclesiastes 3:2
A
time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up
that which is planted;
Today's topical
discussion focus is the planting seasons of our lives, which can be equated to
when the Word of God is instilled in our lives. This is the child being
introduced to God and His holiness, His love, grace and mercy as well as God
being the essence of life from the beginning to the end. It is in God that all
humanity exists.
As the seed
(God's Word) is planted in the young life, and grow then the righteousness of
God is manifested for the world to see. Also, the fruit of the Spirit is on
display in the person's life.
Let's equate the
time of plucking up to the believer witnessing Christ to lost souls so they too
can and will become members of the Christian community. From birth to death,
life is but a dash, but what we do between birth and death counts the most.
Every
believer has the seed planted and then we plant the seed in others.
