Let Jesus Lead You: Psalm 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Today's message is encouraging everyone to let God lead you, because He knows the way and is the perfect leader. Without God's direction we will be lost in this vast sea known as the world. God Word the Bible is our roadmap and the indwelling Holy Spirit as our heavenly compass as we travel heaven's highway.
God left His holy Word shows love, care and compassion He has for His children. He loves us too much to leave us wandering in the wilderness.
In the words of this song, "let Jesus lead you all the way from earth to heaven. He is a mighty good leader. Let Jesus lead you.

Christ the Righteous Judge Acts 17:31

Today's message is taken from my monthly devotional "Heaven Bread," that is published on Amazon (CreatSpace, Kindle, and Seller Central) and wherever books are sold.

Because He hath appointed a day, in [the] which He will judge the world in righteousness by [that] man whom He hath ordained; [whereof] He hath given assurance unto all [men], in that He hath raised Him from the dead.

If the question was raised, why is Christ the righteous Judge? This is because who Christ is; the only begotten of God the Father who died on the cross paying man's sin-debt. Christ is the righteous judge being that He was slain from the foundation of the world to be man's propitiator. Christ is the righteous judge it is in Him deity and humanity met. Christ is the righteous judge in that He was the first fruit of the dead who was raised with all power in His hands in heaven and earth.
Being human and divine, Christ met all of the Father's requirements to redeem man back to Himself. Being human and divine, Christ could relate to His Father, humanity and the world. Christ was fully God and man. This is because He has God the Holy Spirit as His Father and was born of the Virgin Mary who was fully human.
It worth noting that Christ was in the beginning with God and all things were created by Him (John 1:1-4). It is in Christ the Word was made flesh and dwelt among humanity (John 1:14).
These questions come to mind, who would you prefer as the righteous judge, Christ or man? Would you prefer a judge who is righteous and changes not or someone that is sinful by nature? Christ is the second person in the Godhead, who is God and knows all, sees all and can do all.
Christ is the righteous judge who is coming back to judge the world with His truth and His eternal justice.

Love Thy Neighbor: 1 John 4:7

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Love is an action word; I make this claim based on the actions taken by God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ our Savior. What was God's love action? The Father gave His Son and the Son gave His life to redeem man from the jaws of sin. In doing so all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be saved. God's love action is also demonstrated in that justice was demanded, but mercy took its place with Christ's atoning work on Calvary's cross.
The death believers have to die is to sin daily because Satan is constantly trying to impede our walk with Christ. Loving as God love believers have the ability to love thy neighbor because love trumps hate and all the evilness hate bring.
Another school of thought, we are commanded to love as Christ has loved us. He gave His life for us; therefore, to reciprocate that love we are to love Him and our neighbors as ourselves. Loving others as ourselves, then the world will know that we are ambassadors for Christ and are of God.
The world hates us; therefore, let's show the world more love.

Faith: Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

In applying this definition to faith we believe that there is a God who created all seen and unseen things of the universe. It is by faith that we believe when this life is over we as believers have a home not made by hands called heaven where we will spend eternity with our Lord.
Faith is the foundation of all believers walk with Christ. It is by faith that we are saved, because we believe that yes Jesus is the only begotten of God the Father who came to earth in human form suffered bled and died on the cross at Calvary and then He rose that glorious Sunday morning known as Resurrection Sunday. Faith is our assured hope that Jesus Christ is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercessions for us thereby serving as our high priest.
It is our faith that we as believers can see and do things as God sees them, which may look peculiar to others in society. It is because of our faith we can obey God as Abraham did and go without knowing where and how far this faith journey will take us (v.6).
Faith is seeing the invisible as though it is visible; believing the impossible that it is possible knowing that with God all things are possible (Matthew 29:26). He created everything didn't He?
How strong is your faith? Is it strong enough to step out on faith in whatever God ask? Have faith. See and believe; its there.

Unified in Prayer: Nehemiah 1:5-6

...I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned.

In the midst of these turbulent times prayer is always in order; therefore, as we come together in prayer God hears and answers prayers. Things may appear bleak now; remember weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5b).
I am a firm believer in prayer and I can fight any battle on my knees. Let's continue in steadfast prayer a change is coming.
God hears the cries of His people.
