Job 33:14; Hebrews 1:1-2
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. God, who
at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by
the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all
things, by whom also he made the worlds.
If
the question was raised, does God speak? Today's scriptures answer the question
with a resounding yes He does speak. Hebrews 1:1 makes it plan that yes God speak
and have been speaking to humanity through various methods and in different
times. Job 33:14 tells us that God have spoken to us not once but twice but
humanity is failing to listen.
This
remains true today; this is evidence through the many natural disasters that
has and is occurring in the Unites States alone. Let me encourage all to hear
the voice of the Lord, because He is speaking. I make this plea because of the
widespread hatred, anger and vitriol that is being spewed for no apparent
reason other than hate. This country needs a spiritual healing (2 Chronicles
7:14); love will override hate.
Be
encouraged because we who know the Lord are His sheep who knows His voice and
will follow Him (John 1027-28).
God
is speaking; hear His voice and adhere to His message; turn back to Him and
make Him first in our lives.
