Matthew 28:6
He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come; see the place where
the Lord lay.
What
does the phrase "He is risen" mean in your life? To all Christians the world over it mean that Christ is
alive and rose as promised Resurrection Sunday morning with all power both in
heaven and earth in His hands. Christ's death, burial and resurrection are the
central truth of Christians' faith the world over. It means that yes He is the
Son of the living God and His redemptive death on the cross at Calvary bridged the spiritual divide between God the
Father and man. It means that scriptures have been authenticated and prophecy
fulfilled. Christ began His heavenly ministry of intercession for His people.
It means Christ is present in our lives through the indwelling Holy Spirit and
His power over sin in general and what believers' encounter daily.
Christ rose on Resurrection Morning regardless of one's
faith. Is Christ alive in your life?
Christ is alive for He is risen.
