Rich In God's Grace: Ephesians 2:7
That in the ages to come, He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness towards us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
In his writing to the
church at Ephesus, Paul reminded the people of the magnitude of God's grace and
His gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is the work of
God and His Son. That being said, man is rich in God's grace. Man's is to
believe in Jesus Christ and receive the greatest gift that can and will ever be
given salvation. What a
gift!
The gift of salvation
has stood through and will continue to stand through all the ages to come as it
carries riches beyond comparison and can only be comprehended with a spiritual
mind as revealed by God
the Holy Spirit. The magnitude of God's grace is that mercy took the place of
justice which was demanded the punishment of sin, but thank God for His Son
Jesus who took man's punishment. God demonstrated His love in action and
cannot be superseded by any other love as Jesus Christ became man's
propitiator. What a
propitiator!
Believers are rich in
God's grace because of His Son's atoning work on Calvary of providing salvation
to all who believe they will spend eternity with Him.
God's grace, what a rich gift to have!

A Prayer for Guidance
Holy Spirit,
You know my heart. You understand my deepest wants and needs, and You know my every intention. You know me better than I know myself. There is nowhere I could run to escape Your presence, and nothing I could hide from You!
And that’s why, right now, I am asking You to give me Your divine wisdom and guidance.
I don’t always know what to pray for. My soul is weary and I am tired. I often worry about making the right decision—but I want to live a life that honors You.
Even though I may feel like I can’t move forward or see what’s ahead—You see me. And You know me. So please guide me. Show me the paths that lead to abundant life, and convict me when I am tempted to stray from You.
As You guide me, restore me. I will place my hope in You at all times because You know all things, and by You, my life is held together. You are my strength in times of need, and You have become my salvation.
So hold me close, Lord, and teach me to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have given me. Direct my steps as You guard my life, because I want to glorify You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

The Power of Faith: Hebrews 11:1; Romans 10:9-10
Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Romans 10:9-10, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the past three months, I have taught on faith using my Sunday School Commentary book and as the
Holy Spirit led me to share some enlightening points on faith.
From our scripture texts
(Romans 10:9-10), there is saving power in having faith. The faith that I am
speaking of here is a heart faith, believing without total being that yes,
there is a God and Jesus Christ is His Son who came to earth in human form to
sacrifice His life for humanity. In doing so, all who believe are assured of
everlasting life (John 3:16).
Faith is powerful enough
to save all who believe from being eternally separated from God, our creator,
and sustainer. Faith is powerful enough to cause us to persevere in our faith
journey with Jesus because this is an endurance race, not a sprint. While on
this faith walk, we will encounter some obstacles; having enduring faith, we
will conquer our enemy (Satan) because everything begins in the spirit realm.
This is A Persevering Faith because it enables us to continue regardless of how
rough the road may get. We can persevere because we have God the Holy Spirit
residing in us as our helper, comforter, and strength. We are more than
conquerors in Christ Jesus because: (a) Jesus has already overcome the world
(John 16:33), and (b) the God (the Holy Spirit) that is in us is much bigger
than the god of this world (1 John 4:4).
Therefore, have no fear nor doubt or worries because
Jesus Christ promised that He would be with us to the end of the world, and He
is. Have faith!
