The Healing Of This Nation

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people,  which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I know I have written on this topic several times as I prayed and continue to pray for a healing of this nation. Today, I can tell you that I am witnessing more and more people lifting up the name of Jesus and praying as I interact across social media and in other venues. I am not asserting that people weren't praying before, but are openly proclaiming that yes there is a God who is in control of every situation.
Let me remind all of these facts: (a) there is power in prayer. Remember the midnight prayer meeting Paul and Silas had while locked in prison; the church went in prayer for Peter while he was in prison; the results were the same. They were released unharmed. (b) James 5:16 state that prayers of the righteous availeth much; therefore, when believers pray things change. (c) What happen when the people marched around Jericho, the walls fell down on the seventh march.
There is strength in numbers and when believers come together in prayer this nation and the world will see a difference as it is now. Praying for the healing of this nation has been part of my and other prayer warriors' nightly prayers for over two years. What do we see? Resistances all over this nation and in other countries around the world joining our efforts and praying as we resist.
We cannot allow our democracy to be destroyed by satanic controlled people who has made it their mission to harm too many good people.
A healing of this nation is occurring; prayers are being made and feet are walking by faith knowing truth and right will succeed.

Godly Mothers Are Angels Among Us

Hebrews 13:2

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Hebrews 13:1 encourages believers to continue in brotherly love as this type of love that stems from our relationship with God the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ as it is common to greet one another as sister and brother in Chris. Several questions come to mind, and they are, when there is a stranger in our mist whom we do not know to be a fellow believer or are what man considers as the derelicts of our society how do we as Christians greet or treat this person? Is the person greeted in brotherly love as our scripture verse reminds us that we should as it we may be entertaining an angels unaware? Are we as Christians practicing cultural Christianity? If the person has a physical need do we address that need without judging? Are we as Christians following in Christi’s footsteps in addressing a physical need in order to meet their spiritual need?
Christians are taught to treat everyone with love and respect because Christ loved and died for all humanity even while we were enemies of God. This is because Christians are simply saved sinners saved by God’s grace and all who have accepted Jesus Christ in faith as your personal Savior is being kept by the power of the Holy Spirit. Another school of thought on entertaining strangers among us that sometimes God will send society’s less fortunate to us to see where we as Christians are in our Christian growth and walk with Him. Finally, God judges the heart of man not his/her appearances because we all may be different on the outside but the same on the inside.
Be mindful of the angels among us.

A Virtuous Woman

Proverbs 31:10-31

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no deed of spoil.

Our lesson text asks a profound question as it relates to true mothers and Christian women. A virtuous woman is one who puts family first as she seeks to ensure that their needs are met. She emulates the love of God for her family (husband and children) as well as the community in which she lives. She seeks to do good for others while taking no thought for her own welfare, because she leaves that to God with the full understanding that God will supply all her needs.
Our scripture verses outlines the qualities and character traits of a virtuous women as I have seen these qualities on display by many of the women and especially older women that I have encountered in my lifetime. The one character trait these women had in common was a reverence for God and love for man.
Our scripture verses also state that a virtuous woman is a precious commodity and should be cherished and rewarded for her faithfulness and love for family and community. She speaks with wisdom (v.26) even when she is offering corrections to her children, a love one or someone in the community.
The value of a virtuous woman is priceless and more precious than rubies and gold. She is as beautiful as a rose.
