Man's Failure

Genesis 3:1-24

Now the serpent was more subtle (subtil) that any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea hath God said, Ye, shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

This chapter deals man's failure in his obedience to God with the serpent using the woman to attack God's creation. The serpent used God's own words but twisted them to make them believable to Eve. The serpent created doubt in Eve's mind by telling her that even though God said she would die if she ate from the tree of knowledge she wouldn't die, which was a lie.
What does this say for Eve and all humanity? It says when you know the truth of God's Word stand firm on His Word, because His Word is what will judge all humanity. Another school of thought is that when you know the truth let no one place doubt in your heart and mind. When there is doubt search the scripture, because the Holy Scriptures is where the truth is found.
The other epic lie Satan told was that they would be as gods with the ability to decide what is good and evil, which would allow man to live independently from God our Creator. Man wasn't created in the image and likeness of God to live independently from God. Man failed to remember who his creator was and his sustainer is. Man is breathing because of God. His very existence is because of God; His love, grace and mercy.
Man's failure was an opportunity for Jesus Christ to restore man to wholeness.

Jesus Loves Me

1 John 4:10

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

There is a song that goes like this; Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so. The song tells the truth of God's love for humanity why because before man was created God being all knowing created a world that is suitable for man to live. We needed oxygen to breath, the sun to provide the right amount of light and rays from it to keep the earth at the correct temperature. The four seasons have their purpose in the grand scheme of God's provisional care.
After God had created everything for man's survival; He then created man in His image and likeness.  Man was not an after thought in God's creative process, but was created out of love for God is love and to be Man was created to be in fellowship with God.
We know that we are loved because God the Father created us; God's Son Jesus Christ saved us; God the Holy Spirit dwells in us as our heavenly compass.
Yes Jesus loves me.

The Golden Rule

Today's message is very simple, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. What this means to me is treat everybody like you want to be treated; give respect and you will receive respect. Love everybody with the love of God and receive that love in return. Christ set the example for how we are to love and treat our fellowman.
Another point to this message is stay in your lane unless invited. If this practice is adhered to then the world would be a better place to live and coexist. This is because everyone knows his or her place while respecting the other person's space.
If the question was raised, why are you writing about the Golden Rule when it appears to be non-existence? Principles do not change; people do and just because this rule is rarely practiced, don't mean that it is ineffective when practiced.

The Power Of God’s Word

Psalm 119:89, 105

For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Today's focus discussion is the Power of God's Word with supporting scriptures which supports this proclamation and they are: Isaiah 40:8 and 1 Peter 1; 24-25. God’s Word is dynamic and powerful and it accomplishes great things (Isaiah 55:11).
Let's outlined some evidence as it relate to the powerfulness of God’s Word:
A.    God’s Word is creative. We understand that by His spoken Word all things came into existence. Psalm 33:6 states the by “the Word of the Lord were the heavens made.”
B.    God’s Word has the power to sustain all creations. Hebrews 1:3 states, “God sustains all things by the word of his power.”
C.    God’s Word has the power to impart new life. 1 Peter 1:23 states “by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” John 1:4 refers to Jesus as “the Word of life.”
D.    God’s Word releases His grace, power, and revelation by which believers grow in their faith and their commitment to Jesus Christ.
E.     God’s Word is the sword (Ephesians 6:17) by which all believers use to fight Satan. Jesus spoke these words “it is written” to fight Satan during His temptation in the wilderness.
F.     It is God’s Word that will judge all mankind regardless of whether we chose to accept or reject His Word-we will be judged!
