1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
As we approach the Thanksgiving season I am reminded of the
many blessings bestowed upon us in times past until now and we as believers
have the assurances that God will continue to shower us with His blessings. For
this we are encouraged to give thanks to God continually and for every thing.
There are many times when many of our desired wants are
missing or not as we would like for them to be, but God's blessings are still
upon us. We may not have the job or any other material things we desire, but
still give thanks unto the Lord. Through it all God supplies all our needs
according to His will and promises (Philippians 4:19).
Heart-felt thanks to God expresses our gratitude
for His goodness in our lives; therefore, be thankful.
